Point Mugu Navy Base Surfishing 3-6-04

Time: 12:00pm-3:00pm

Bait: MOtor Oil/Red flakes and Fresh Mussel.

Summay: I started out fishing a new part of the Navy base off the beach. Which turn out to be the best thing I did for thew area. This area had more Break line zones and holes. With clear color being perfect for grubs and Mussel. The Grubs started of being small perch on motor oil/red flakes. Then I say why not change to Clear and red flakes. I was thrwing Sevens with changing situations. My 8 1/2" and 9" came off the clear and red flakes. Also, when I got lazy i which over to mussel and they we crazy. Mussels help to produce the 11" one( fat mommy). They all went back to live another day. So get out there the perch are spawning.
