Venice Pier Tuesday Night - California Fishing

Hey guys sorry for the late report.

Well I went with the boss after work to go fish Venice Pier. We got down to the pier after eating some sushi at Kaya Sushi(Best sushi place around the L.a. area) and started to do some night fishing across from the bathrooms.

There were some big waves tonight and also a good current coming through. We fished for a few hours and got a few good bites, but the only thing either one of caught, was when I hooked into a little yellow fin croaker, about 7 inches long.

Well this saturday we are going to HB to fish thier pier on saturday. Hopefully get into some Leopard sharks on light tackle.

Good. At least you hooked into somethin', and that's what it's all about! I believe you'll do even better on Saturday. Remember Jason if you can, take all the pictures (digital or film) that you can or even live video footage would be even better, so we can include JByrd pictures in the XMAS party video. We don't care what the catch is, just take those pix! Good luck man and thanks for the report.
