I have not had a chance to fish with greg on the new boat but i read on ######### the crew is top notch!
is the aloha spirit staying? i hear they may be relocating along with others?
That's because Greg Captained the boat up until he bought the A Spirit.
New news: There's a whole new line-up coming, and very impressive I might ad. I won't reveal it just yet, but I was impressed to say the least. And not just seasonal visits either.......these new boats are going to be at Hooks all year 'round. I can say it's some boats from Newport......San Diego .........and Santa Cruz.
Volaski is going to put the New Blue Fin over at Ventura Sportfishing (to try to totally revive that landing) and bring the Coroloma back from Ventura to Hooks as one of the main 3/4 day boats there. The Lenbrook is more than likely going to be pulled out of the water and totally revamped...that's an awesome boat, and when it's done should be one of the better boats in the Channel Is. operations.
The Spirit is probably going to bounce unfortunately(sad news to hear). THough we'll still have alot of good boats (some of the same and some new). Steve Volaski is going to run a clean and very fair landing. There's going to be alot of positive positive changes to Captn Hooks. Some people don't wanna coincide with the positive changes and so their only choice is to leave unfortunately.
Captain Hooks is going to be a force to reckoned with, a real clean and well oiled operation.
