How to catch a halibut with your bare hands!

I was looking through my iMovie projects today and found this one from the 08 Beachmasters tournament. For those that weren't there, Mickey tied on a lucky craft and hooked up with a nice halibut. As he was landing it, the fish broke his line and fell into a pool in the rocks with the lucky craft still stuck in its mouth. Here's what happened -

Oh boy, that was lots of fun. Sure remember that, but looking at the video, I think it actually belongs in the bloopers section. I was afraid of getting hooked with one of the trebles on the LC.

Sure is funny how that bugger managed to land in the tidepool as it snapped off my line. Thank God, because I wasn't about to lose 2 LC's in one day. Previous to this one, Jon watched me lose a 130MR to something in the 30" range a few yards from the jetty.

Thanks to Keene, I was recently able to (recently) replace it. THANKS KEENE!!!

That was funny, real good Footage.

I bet you had the grip of death on his tail I've done that before. I bet it was the biggest chicken you tried to choke to death.
