The bite was good at Salmon Eggs. Once the jigs came out, it was WFO!
(I expect a 20% commission if sales pick up after this report.)

Yup, they are!! Both my boys got a Homey Simpson setup with a few aftermarket mods, of course.
As for durability, the rods give and keep on giving. I actually used them both for my son's Gifted Program Spring Carnival, where roughly 300-400 kids/adults use them to "toss the ball in the fishy's mouth" (like DFG's booth at Fred Hall) to win a Gold/Beta Fish. Mind you, these are kids/adults who have never used a rod in their life. At the end of the day, the rods survived and my kids are still using them when out fishing.
Aftermarket Mods:
I removed the original line and re-spooled them with 4 lb. Yozuri Hybrid mono with a 4 lb. 6 ft. seaguar leader. Set their drags right and they were gravy! Those trout didn't stand a chance!
