Silver Lake Reservoir

I was searching google maps and saw silver lake reservoir and I want to know if anyone fished there and is there any good fish and fishing spots you might wanna tell me I searched forums didn't find anything so please answer fast

So far, can't find anything on good that says anything about fishing.. but I found a few articles that it was recently drained because of a cancer causing chemical in the lake.. here's a good pic of the lake drained so you can see what the bottom looks like. It's flat, and cement. No worries about getting snagged really..

But with it being drained, I doubt there are any sizable bass in there as of now anyway

hahahaha, that shiet is ninja fail for reals..i worked on a job site near that place and left home around 2:00am to get a lil ninja session in before work, then got to the place and it's sewed up like fort knox...i'll save you some gas money and tell you it's a no go..unless you like getting hemmed up for messing with a water supply..there is better ninja spots you could find around you bro, what city?

lol that place was never fished as far as I can remember the whole place was gated up with no shore access. Thats all it was was water!

a real shame too, because it's a big piece of water in the middle of a city that lacks fishing spots

its like 10min away from glendale fwy thats why im like its close i can finally fish somewhere lol but looks like the next closest is Hansen lake which is around 18 min and SFD which like 20-30 min away :\

Silver Lake did have some water residents...I believe it was in the news for having tiny floating "red worms" coming out of water faucets...maybe that's why they drained it?
