Presidents weekend - California Fishing

Should I tow the trailer to the cochella canal area or park at skinner with the boat also and hit DVL on Friday morn?
The canal area is free to camp in niland but its 120 mi. one way. Skinner is 40 mi. one way times two for the boat. I wonder what the weather brings? Darren what are you doing that weekend? Louie you too and Eddie, are you feeling better? Maybe Friday if local weather permits. I have liked the desert though and weather is far different (warm) out there.
Lots of Kittys being caught in the canals right now sooooo, are lakes good? (not much i have heard) or travle.
You can meet me out there if you want, the trailer sleeps 5 drunks comfortably or if you are stoned drunk 7.
Just thought I would get som feed back from the croud.

Schedules I hate them Louie, it depends what I feel is right for the weekend I was bringing my other "B" to the desert, not the boat or the BIT$H but the Bike for a 7mi. ride to an oasis I know of and it is soooo warm out there now.
I hope we can get together soon.

Ok Taco,
Were on for DVL on Friday, weather permitting and I have reservations at Skinner at camp #358 with an 65' pull through site so I have some serious rig hauling to do. I imagine the trailer being there at about 3:30 and boat about 6:00 or so. Friday morning is good for DVL, what time do you think on Friday I should be there?

I may be able to go on Monday, but that's it. Super slight chance I can get out a little Sunday morning. I still haven't decided DVL or Skinner, I'll keep checking reports. I'll have my boat, so we can hit several spots and cover more area. Keep me posted on your days out there! Talk soon!

Only Friday for DVL then Saturday and Sunday Skinner, if only DVL had a campground, what a concept. Gee it was suppost to be that way in the begining, thank you MWD.
