I really like the video. I love catching big fish off the beach...no guides, fishfinders, boats, gps...just some elbow grease and your ability to read the water....... love it!

anyway, is catching yellowtail off the beach something you can do consistently??? I have heard of people catching roosterfish off the beach, but never yellowtail.

Not here in cali. Now there are some members here who lay some wood to c-bass from the surf locally!!

Spooko is right

the area is "Baja" California
The rooster fish, the Snook, including the yellowtail
and the jacks come to play near the shoreline
that place is blessed with year around fishing
and BIG tunas like 40 miles out

the most efective lure is known as Cabo killer

in 3 oz
