lets have it at legg lake gots to be good plus!!!! very good fishing right now and summer time is going to be great there plenty of shade and long stretches of grass and 3 lakes to fish from beat that with a baseball bat and call me bruce lee lmfao

WTF??? panfried? Would you panfry albacore or yellowfin?
Try it grilled. Wrap it in foil with 1/2 stick of butter and some garlic. Place on grill and cook for 10-15 min adding time for bigger fish. A 15 lb fish should take 30-40 min. You can also do this on the broiler.
To answer your original question, yes it would make great tacos

Panfried in butter, garlic and lemon pepper, try it, its good.
The Boners are making their way up, according to what Ive been reading. Never used Bonito for tacos thats why I asked.

Anybody ever hit up Hole Mole in the LBC? BOMB fish tacos. Whatever they use is a good fish to use.

I've caught my fair share of bonito, cooked some..mind you, these were 8 to 10 lb fish..the only meat that came close to tasting o.k. was the light meat, imho I'd never use them for fish taco's.
