Tomato Worms??

I was wondering, do you guys think tomato worms would work for trout? I have a whole bunch of them in the garden eating my mom's tomato leaves. I'm thinking of trying them up in mammoth this weekend. Here is a pic of them: http://www.bath.ac.uk/bio-sci/images/charnley2.gif

Here's a pic i took:

It's well worth a try. Make sure to use a small hook though so you don't kill the worm real fast. Maybe around a size 8. You want it wiggling around down there.

I actually tried them. No they didnt work... It really doesnt look natural to them. It may work in a river enviroment where there is a lot or crickets as they look like a larvae.

They might work for catfish or bass but I dont think they will work for trout...if you PM me and swear an oath to secrecy I will tell you the best trout bait ever found. I gave the secret to Wahoo in May and he hooked up bigtime.

id say a 3-5 lb. bass or a medium size catfish but what do i know ive never gone fw. trout only go for native things dont they? bass go for fish and native stuff, catfish just eat anything off the bottom.
