Got my gear ready for the Sierras

I have most of my gear together already for this weekend, here's the stuff I'm bringing (aside from clothes and camping equipment). Sorry for the image quality, I took these pictures with someone elses camera.

Kinda hard to see the stuff in this pic, but I got a tackle box full of mini jigs, lip ripperz, different colors of powerworms, power nymphs, jerk-its, bearpaws, trout sent in Roe, 10mi walkie talkies, fillet knife, vest, bullet bobber, bass thumb, 3rd grip rod holder, lures and cranks, and more. I also got to buy some stuff up there, and not pictured is my tube, waders, and fins. Also, I have a gut feeling that there's something in this picture that I don't need, but I'm not exactly sure what it is... maybe you guys can help me by pointing it out?

Flysetup, Quantum Optix w/ Daiwa Heartland trout, Okuma Avenger w/ Shimano FX, Okuma VS w/ Bass Pro Shops Micro lite, Shimano Sonora w/ Quantum teton.

And here's the photographic equipment:

Kodak z740 for fishing
Nikon D70 for photography
70-300mm Nikkor AF f/4-f/5.6
18-55mm Nikkor AF f/3.5-f/5.6
2 UV filters (on lenses)
FD filter (won't need it, but its good to be prepared for the unexpected)
Polarizer Filter
Neutral Density Filter
Adapter Ring
60" portable tripod
Lens cleaning cloth
Battery Charger
Case

Anything else?

What doesn't belong? I'd say that knife. I don't see how a knife with a paper blade is very useful, unless you enjoy paper-cuts. In which case, you're missing the lemon wedges. I do, however, like your white and blue float tube anchor. Is that 3 lbs?

Sean get red thomas Buoyants and gold kastmasters. What cranks do you have? Up in the Eastern Sierra the only hardbait I ever see anyone use are rapalas and they are generally trolling. If you arent trolling stick with spoons, jigs, and trout worms. FYI the only thing worth buying when you get up there are flies. Otherwise buy everything down here. Where are you going up there?

Lip ripperz actually work better than power worms in the eastern sierra.

well sean, you surely dont need the 3rd grip rod holder since it wont fit you.

ask about to uber l33t bait that you use up there if you dont know what it is already. o, and crickets = sweet topwater action too.
