Alright guys, our (meaning me and my gf) 1 year anniversary shannagin is coming up, and she's been hinting that she wants to do something really special that day. Any suggestions? It has to be fairly cheap, I need all the money I can get for christmas presents and fishing.

O, and she specifically said that she does NOT want to go fishing. LOL.

Anyhow, maybe you guys should dress up a bit and go to a nice restaurant. What's her favorite food? Go to a nice restaurant that serves that, but in a glitzy different way.

Does she like plays? Go take her to watch RENT, Phantom of Opera, or Miss Saigon, CATS, whatever is playing.

Maybe dinner and dancing somewhere nice.

Just throwing out suggestions.

And don't say Damn GFs, because my gf from a long time ago left me and I was so sad

she said I wasn't paying attention enough. I've met others, but that one I had when I was your age hurt a lot.

Something nice doesn't necessarily mean spend money, it means do something that SHE wants to do and that is specifically for HER. Priscilla is a nice girl and I know she doesn't expect you to spend a bunch of cash. Just think about something that would be special for her or meaningful in your relationship and go with that. Yea Jon hit it directly on the spot.

Lumi- Phantom of the Opera is her all time favorite play/movie. She's like a little 4 year old kid watching barney when it comes to it. Over and over and over again lol. I had that idea of buying tickets for that but unfortunately we couldn't find any.

Ehano- I want to spend as LITTLE money as possible. Like Jon said, it doesn't need to cost any money to make it special. I thought about bringing her to a spot in DP harbor to watch the sunset that I know of unfortunately my 6 months aren't up yet so I can't driver her, and her parents wouldn't go for that, so this is definetly making things more difficult.

Impress her and make her dinner. Its not expensive and she will love it. Unless your a horrible cook.

Id say take her for a walk on the beach at sunset but if the parents arent into that then I guess thats out. I'll keep thinking

doesnt she read these forums?! sean, you young'ns have much to learn. its not going to be special if you get the idea from someone one this site! its special (to women) if you come up with something yourself! its better if its meaningful rather than big and expensive.
