Dont you hate it when your looking forward to your only day off in more than a week somebody gets shot and killed at your work and you end up working double time dealing with the CSI guys and the PFCS people as well as the media and all you want to do is go home and sleep but you are stuck at work because none of the slackers you work with want to come in and work the overtime?

I hate when that happens!

I hate it when you finally have an open saturday with no plans and its a an open fishing day and your friend calls you to cover for her because she has to go to prom! who goes to prom?? also i didnt even get payed.......

You covered for someone else on your day off, and you didn't get paid!?!? Damn, CF! At the least, you should make people buy you dinner before they f@&* you.

Then again, maybe you should come to work for me. I could use somebody I don't have to pay......

Wow I hate to be the downer guys, but come on.. Your talking about not going fishing because someone was KILLED! Someones life ended and the attitude is damn cant go fishing today...

I totally agree with you.

There's things more important than fishing, like a human being; Eventhough I don't think that's exactly what Russ was saying. I think he's just over worked. I know they've got him workin' like a horse and I think he feels they take advantage of him at his job; at least that's what I got out of it.

Some people deserve to die, how do I know if this guy wasnt one of them? Besides, I hate it when I am having a bad day and someone allways has to go and say "Well, at least you dont live in Sumatra" or something else just as stupid. I understand that bad things happen to people, but just because somebody else has it worse off than I do doesnt make my problem go away or any less important to me.
I am a very selfish person I admit, but if I dont look out for my own interests nobody else is going to. When my dad went in for double bypass surgery the first thing I thought was DAMN!, looks like no fishing this week! It doesnt mean I was not concerned for his health and safety also, but thats the first thing I thought. And when I thought what if he dies? I swear I was worried that I would not get to fish for a long time because I would have to stick around and deal with all of the family crap and support my mom. Again, I know its selfish but the most important person in my life is me. Sad but true...
And I would also fish in a cemetary if I knew there were fish there, I would cut bait on someones headstone if it was convienet...

It's not for you to know whether this guy was meant to die or not. If he was the victim of some stupid crime or accident, then wouldn't you think that was unfortunate?

Maybe People don't understand totally about just how selfish they are until they need something or they need help really badly one day, and turn around and there's no one there to help them....at all, it's unfortunate. Oh well, Back to talking about fishing.
