Using "muffs" on outboard? Opinions please...

Have a 20hp Johnson and instead of usin' the conventiona 55 gal., drum for startin' (drums cans be a pain in the a _ _, movin', filling w/ water, etc.!), was wantin' to get some different input in using these (muffs). I won't be runnin' engine for an extended period, just wantin' to make sure she'll start in the back yard, to eliminate runnin' into problems when you don't want them eg., on the LAKE!!! Any response is appreciated. Outta here... ~Skip
