Since the Hook Up Club for Teens is gone, we are thinking of organizing a club in which everyone would be interested in. Any ideas guys?

Lets get a Team HookUp! together where a couple of dedicated anglers goes around and compete in tournaments and other activities. Hey Jon, how about a free HookUp T-shirt for those anglers who qualify?

That was one idea that I presented to Jon. I like the idea.

Another Idea I thought of would be to start a youth fishing program like Friends of Rollo or something.

i think we should forget that idea. we havent had too much sucess with recruiting younger people and the question you have to ask is how many 5-10 year olds can get out there and fish on a weekly basis and actually have the patience to fish during tough situations. ime kids like to throw rocks around more than waiting for a bite.

what about a club that cleans the beaches and fishes at the same time?

This type of club would certainly border "service organization" in which you guys can be recognized, in some cases even apply and receive government grants to aid you in "cleaning" up places. I think it's a GREAT idea.
