My little fishes has out grown my little 10 gallon tank and needs a new home soon. I was wondering if anyone know of any place that sell 40 gallons tanks or more fairly cheap, or a used one that they want to get rid off (hint hint CST) I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Check out the Recycler, both online and the paper. The paper version has some awesome aquarium ads.

go onto waterwolves.com and check their buy and sell they usually have a lot of good deals there. like james said the recyler is also another good place to get used tanks.

Recycler is the spot, or check your local papers classifieds. I have one I'll sell but not for about another 3 months and that probably doesn't help you. It's still up and running. I have a 1200 gallon P-glass custom built "depth tank" with personally designed w/d filteration. I had this one set up to house amazonian species (Discus, various South and Central American cats, a couple different knife fish species, a couple small/med. size Arrowana, and various native cichlid species like Jewels, etc.) It's down now, and I'm contemplating selling but not 100% sure yet. It is custom and the dimensions are not standard..it's an awesome tank. Tank/custom stand/hood, halli lighting/ filtration for probably around $2200 total o.b.o. , which is a steal. I'll know also in about two months. If i'm able to close Escrow on th house I want to buy with in the next 60 days, I'm keeping it, if not it's up for grabs.

o crap!!!! thats an awesome. u gota throw a hookup kick back!!!! local rookie, where u at? theres a local fish store which sells a dollar a gallon whch is pretty reasonable.

That's pretty reasonable, a buck a gallon is cool, depending on the quality of the glass
