I'm not a fly fisher at the moment, but now is as good a time as any to learn! I'd still fish in it even if it was fly fishing only.

How about a weekend on the owens before the season starts??? that would be great for the guys who fly fish and the one's who want to get started.

Eric thats a damn good idea, i havnt been there for a few months.
as far as the tourny for LNl i guess we will do artificials only and split the pot biggest fish and stringer. Is that okay with everyone.
It will prob be a small event but it will be fun.

Really good Idea Eric. I love drifting the Owens. Only fished the Lower once and is very difficult ot fish from shore most places along it's stretch, but I loved drifting it.

Tony i would love to drift the owen's one day, but if i was going to spend that kind of money i would rather spend it on a new fly rod.. i will be very happy just to fish the catch and release area. I need to hit up the owen'st one more time before the season starts!!!!!!!
