Yeah, you're right. Some issues suck, some are great. They've got good product reviews. Not necessarily the fact that the reports are positive, (becasue we know how payola works), but the products that they do review are great products.

Yeah, I know. I realized that after I closed it up and I don't know if I can change it, or how to.

I get Western Outdoors only because it came along with my subscription to WON, I have never really read anything super interesting in any of the magazines, its allways the same old articles on fly fishing, bass fishing or Baja Fishing. The last article I read of interest was on freshwater fishing in Russa...

I only pay for won and flyfishing and tying journal. Any other fishing mag i will just read at barnes and noble. Can't see a reason to spend any money on them.

Actually what I'm gonna start to do is make computer files of all the articles in all the magazines I subscibe to ( which is literally over 15 different fishing publications -way too many to mention -both fresh and salt, some domestic, some international) I do it for pleasure but also I use almost all my fishing publications as work tools also. Actually, there's alot of really great fishing info in all the publications. So I'm going to catagorize them by magazine name, issue #, article title, page number, and subject matter so that If I need certain information or help with a certain subject, I look it up and I know exactly what magazine and where to find it. Kinda like the "Dewey Decimal System" but for fishing articles (lol). I save all my magazines / publications and have a library of them. I really enjoy reading them.

Looks like Western Outdoor News is taking the lead, with In-Fisherman at close second.

Where is STS? I had to vote for field and stream, but WO is a close second.

LOl it's ok steelhead. That is one of my favorite magazines but I don't see many copies of it down here. As a young teenager I always had a subscription for that magazine
