New Reels from Okuma

New 2005 reels from okuma. (Im so buying these)

Okuma VS

Okuma Inspira

Okuma Alumina

Okuma Aveon

Okuma Catalina

There are also some other conventionals that came out.

Im probably going to buy the Okuma VS. The lower models have 12 bb and the higher models have 15! Thats more than a stella or a saltiga!! Plus, its only 150 bucks! Im buying it!!!

It's nice to see that they are offering options to their graphite-bodied spinning reels. Perhaps they are making a better product now. By offering a 5 year warranty they seem to be confident enough.

I am a big okuma guy and I can personally say that I have never had a problem with an okuma spinning reel. They are getting better and better every year. I can't wait for to get the VS!

Now I know why Turners are selling their Okuma Inspira by 50%. Okuma came out with news ones! Talking about new spinning reels, have you checked out the Daiwa Certate? $350 for the 1500 model! Comes with 10 bearings all the Daiwa bells and whistles.

Bigger handles are great, and more comfortable. If i had it my way, id put a Trinidad handle on every reel I own.

I would never spend that much money for a reel even if I have the cash. Yikes!
