Normally i wouldn't worry about them, but wait till you have kids. Then you tend to see things through different eyes brother!!! I have a 7 yr old that loves to play in the back yard and i would rather kills every spider in the world before i want to see her get bit. Especially by one of these spiders!!! Like i said, wait till you have kids then you'll see things differently. At least i hope you do!!!

Shane this 1's for U

So i get a call sunday night right after my tuna trip...seems my buddy is in the hospital due to spider bite.......

He didn't think too much of it until he woke up a few hours later with his arm swollen to the size of a huge grapefruit.................

The results:
he's been in a hospital since sun or mon. and this is a pic from fri. night after surgery with 1 more scheduled and a few days left in the hospital...he might be discharged on wed :?

I had to help the nurse change the dressing it was leaking so bad

be careful of the black and brown widows and recluses

oh man those spiders are nasty, anything that even resembles a spider at my house meets the shop-vac or some other quick death.

Never heard of a "Brown Widow", do you mean a "Brown Recluse"? or a "Black Widow"?

Brown Recluse bites can be NASTY!
I guess that most of their bites are "dry" bites with no venom, their venom disolves tissue and causes gangrene to develope. Sometimes even if an entire limb is removed in an attempt to avoid it, it will start to develope at the sugery site and more amputation is needed.

I will take a Black Widow bite instead thank you...at least for them they have an ani-venom.

LOL, Big Jimmy does the same

I pull out a can of hairspray and a match when they are outside. They tend to like the metal gate to web

I was bit by one a few years ago and got to the doctor withing a few hours and still took a long time to recover. They gave me enough meds to cure the plague.
