Beachbear has a few cool things you can do while wrapping rods. He will hopefully chime in when he reads this.

Rod builder . org has a ton of info and gallery section of custom wraps, builds and marbling.
I don't wrap, no time for it really. Honestly, I don't even own thread, just paint. I marble, there's an article for it on this site. At rod builder. org in the gallery section look for Richard Valenzuela and more work than what's here will be there.
Costa Mesa had a rod builder show not that long ago, very cool wrappers.
Moon does excellent wraps out of his shop, name skips me now. I get my rods wrapped by SY'S CREATIONS. There's some pix of his work in some of my reports. Moreno Rods is a nice up and coming wrapper, wraps for BAJA Tackle and his own shop too.
ACID ROD. com has a computer program where you can select your colors and type of wraps and, then you'll get to see what it'll look like. I'm not sure if it has TIGER WRAPS, but a call should solve that.
IMHO, if you're doing rods my own 2 cents... Leave time to fish. I used to catch 2 fish, then take off to marble until midnight. On my off track time I'd do like 14 rods, but fish very few days. Now I'll marble when it's "off season" and when the fish are out so am I. I take it as a hobby and not as a business now, I'm so much happier.
Now I enjoy going to antique swapmeets finding vintage rods, getting them cleaned up, rewrapped if I have to, then fishing them. I have custom wrapped, solit grip, tiger wrap, titanium guides or blue guides top of the line SHIKARIs, but still like a bit old school now and then.

I can second Sy's wrapping. He has done one for me and one for the Doctor. Everytime (and I am not kidding) everytime that I take out my rod (haha) I get many compliments. People just cannot stop asking about it. I have been down to the Kings River and people will walk up and ask where I got the rod. They are amazed at the feel and design. My rod casts a country mile compared to the local products.
The same goes for the good Doctor (Fishaholic). He has been an avid fisherman for 25 years and cannot give enough praise of Sy's work. The other M.D.'s that he fishes with want one from Sy. When they are done with residency they can afford it, right now they make pennies for what they do.
Now that Sy has learned to Tiger Wrap it looks even better. I have not seen it in my hands but the pics that Bear (my bro) has posted are fantastic.
Sorry for the biased info, but it is a rod well done.
If you want it Fusioned; talk to BeachBear.

The Dr's rod is a Shikari blank and titanium guides, very light weight.
If you are rod building by far I do suggest the Fuji Guide concept system. Custom rods in general have greater casting because of the quality of the work; correct spine placement, correct guide placement...
Even better casting is using the concept system. The concept system works, BUT, only if they are built with a certain reel in mind. If it's just on a storecshelf rod, then it's not a working concept. Just theory.
The reel should be matched to the rod. I have a matched concept rod/reel and will catch fish where store shelf rods won't. They simply won't reach. I don't even cast that well.
I believe that Sy's teacher will teach you to. However, he might charge you $1,000. When you start you give him a check for $1,000. If you finish he gives it back. If you quit he keeps it. Sy teaches free. He and I will keep no secrets on building.
