Can we all take a moment and mourn?

The Dodo Has Broken Off His Favorite Wood Bait.
Here How The Story Go,S.

Im Still In Tears As I Type This Up.
Catfishslayer And The Dodoman Has Arrive To The Woods.
We Covered A Few Areas To Find A Good Spot With No Winds.
As We Settled In For The Night, Catfishslayer And I Have Decided To Camp Out In The Cold................As Agreed , If It Get To Cold, We Pack Up And Go Home.
Anyways, We Let Out A Few Bait Rods , And Had 1 Swim Bait Rod Ready At Hand.
As You May Know, I Only Brought 1 Z Plug And 1 J-Rago Hard Bait. ( My Favorite Wood ).

Catfish Slayer Has 2 Rods Out And I Starts To Peel Line Off The Reel.
Okay, It,S 9pm And Somthing Is Going To Happen Real Soon.
Catfish Slayer Brings In The First Fish.......... ( Catfish Off The Crawlers)........

By 10 Pm We Started To See Trouts Jumping Around The Shore....
I Watched The Time And Guessed Another 1/2 Hr Or So.

Well , It Happened For The First Time ............A Large Fish Jumps And The Schoolie Trouts Scatters Everywhere...........
With Our Eye Are In Locked Mode And Could Not Believe Whats Going On...........
The Dodo Did Not Hesitate , And Grabed The Swimbait Rod To Toss Out On The Boil............:Clapping: :Clapping: :Clapping:
The Moment Is Here, The Blood Pressure Is Up, The Eyes Wide Open, I Grounded My Shoes Into The Dirt, I Lift Up My Sleeves, Catfishslayer Was In A Aaaaaaaaawwwwwwww, This I The Moment I Have Been Waiting For In A Long Time, Is This Unknow Fish Going To Slam My Wood . In A Pause , I Real In My Rago Slllooooooowwwwwwly , And Bam I Snagged A Rock.
Hellllllll No, Its Pulling Dragggssssssssssssssss.
Oh $Hit, Aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwc $Hit , I Feel The Tail On This Bastard............
This Is The One........
I Freaked For A Moment , Hoping My Knotts Are Right, No Kink On The Line, Drags Are Set, Reel Is Ready ...............F@Ck Na, This Fish Took 2 Minutes To Snap Off The F^Ck,N Swivel.

As I Brought In The Slack, Lookin In The Dark For My Top End Rago
, It Snapped Offfffffffffffffffffff.......

My Rago Is Gone, Oh My , Its Gone, What Do I Do Now..........
So Lets All Morn For A Moment And Hopes In The Morning , I,Ll Find It Floating On The Coves............

Here Are The Damb Pictures, As Im Pist Right Now....

So, nothing for the DODO, but a lost wood. OUCH!!!!! You need to get some scuba gear, there's probably 100's of lures broke off all over that dam.

Nice cat though!!!

i know exactly what happened.

when i tyed the knott, i used a lighter to burn the end off.
i think the heat may have weaknd the knott some how.

anyways , i did pick up some spro swivels rates at 80lbs.

Seal that exposed wood with some clear nail polish before you throw it again Louie. That will keep the wood from swelling and craking off your paint.

It's the duolocks. I like using them on larger baits.
