I've talked to the speaker a few times and he genuinely seems down to earth. He's not also a hardcore salesman either, he does sell items, but not really expensive. I believe he was selling some grubs at the Fred Hall for $4, so he's not like making millions.

I'll be trying a tip of his shortly, using taco sauce on grubs. He does a few things different than others, but can't knock the results either. His book is a great read too, tons of info. I plan on attending.

Damn, if only I didn't have to attend stupid Couples Counseling on Thursday evenings.

I wonder if the wife would mind if I skipped...

Divorce her, I'm on my 9th and she's going to the curb if she doesn't pay up soon.

Always there if you need me Mickey, or my Louisville slugger.

I learn little pieces from different people. I think he has a lot to offer, especially people getting into the surf, starting off.

We do fish/bait different though, but what works for some doesn't work for others. It's kind of like knot preference...some just prefer more than others.

I respect him for putting himself out there though.

I'm sure you have your reasons and they're valid, but why do you consider him a joke?

Not trying to flame, just curious.
