Fishing Fitness

Went to a local landing to see what about the rock fishing conditions. Weights suggested were "1 lb and heavier if you got it".

I just thought quite a workout and if anyone has a fishing workout.

A workout besides going to the galley between drops to get a beer

we were using knife jigs instead of torpedos
at one spot because the current was too strong
and it was like 300 plus

cst maybe you should come up north and fish with me sometime. i use braided line and as little as two ounces of lead on a nice day out of port san luis. Alot of the time i keep my fishing under 150' and often around only 60'

that would be cool. we were thinking of taking our kayaks up north to big sur and try a little shallow rockfishing. but it seems like you're a lot closer

Make sure you take shark repellant!!! Also, better work on your beach launching and landings.
