What to do for spring break?

What to do for spring break?
This year my college has spring break starting on March 18th, I want to go up to the sierras for a week, but I highly doubt it will be fishable by this date. So I want to make a trip somewhere. It has to be fairly cheap because I'm saving up my money for when I go fishing in the UK this summer. So anyway, if someone has any ideas or wants to make small trip with me i'm open for suggestions.
