My New Kayak!

Well, I just put a deposit down on my new fishing kayak!

I've been researching for years on which kayak would be the ultimate fishing machine and I narrowed my choice down to 2 different yaks -

1. MacSki Kingfisher
2. Kaskazi Dorado

IMHO, these are the best fishing kayak choices out on the market today. Both happen to be designed and built in South Africa.

My final choice was the MacSki Kingfisher because of the more functional center console (cutting board, tackle area, rod holders inside, and fish hold) as well as the built in rear bait well (just add pump and hardware).

The Kaskazi Dorado is a great yak as well and they are continuously adding features and enhancing the fishing functionality and platform so I hope to own one of these in the next couple years as well!

Here's some pics of mine in the shop. I'm going to pick her up next weekend!!!
