Thumbs up Mammoth baby!

I got to schedule my Mammoth trip today, looks like I will be up there the weekend of August 12 and I will be camping in the Devil's Postpile area and fishing/tubing Sotcher, Starkweather and possibly driving out to Mamie, George and the Twins too. I am so happy to be getting two Sierra trips this summer, thankfully the winter was generous and there should still be plenty of water.

Good for you fishslayer. This year i hope to make it at least once a month. Just got back yesterday from my 4th. time this year... I don't think you will have to worry about the water level's this year...

Very Cool. Any Mammoth trip for me within the next couple months is shot due to my wife going into early labor ( a month early....they're trying to stop the contractions) , so needlessw to say that she's layed up in the Hospital at least for the next 2-3 weeks...But after the baby comes....maybe a month after that....I'm there at my condo!!! Rock Creek, June Lake loop, Devils Postpile, Mammoth Creek, etc.!! It's on.

Amen to that. I only have the one "Lil Velvet" (wonder if she will read this) but they are worth every moment. Granted my goatee used to be blondish/redish but over the last few years has gotten ALOT of grey as im sure those of you I have fished with have noticed. I think I will stick with my dads term of "Silver and Gold"

Just got her into fishing and soon will be outfishing me. I cant think of anyone I would want to fish with more...ok im getting a little misty now
