Swimming in Stevenscreek?

Does anyone know if you can swim in Stevenscreek reservoir? I just got a newbie tube from Big5, the Caddis I think High sierra Gold or something. for 49.00 and wanted to give it a try since its getting warm. But I don't have any waders yet and proper fins ($$$$!!) was wondering if you can go into steven's creek safely with out them, mostly to just be in the water and test out the tube, and try to catch fish... anyone?

I'm not sure about that reservoir, but do you have fins you are going to use with your float tube?

I don't have fins per se for the tubing. I only have some snorkeling fins I bought a while back. between a planned trip to seattle in a couple of months, a HIGH desire for an XBox, and the Waders and Fins, (( I'm stuck on the money deal unless I can find some Fins really cheap. my feet are kinda small too, so used ones will probably be hard to come around that fit since most people who into the tubing and fishing are men. MoST, not all~!~~! don't yell at me *eeep!*
