Hi fellow anglers,
I just wanted to introduce you to our new website: www.friendsofcaliforniahatcheries.org We are trying to get anglers who do not want to see further cuts to the state hatchery system to visit our site and help support AB 7 , The Hatchery and Fish Planting Bill. This year there is a 20% reduction in operations at our state fish hatcheries and DFG is again talking about closing a fish hatchery or two. Last year, DFG took in an additional $6 million is sportfishing license revenues but is still claiming not to have enough money to fund all the hatcheries and other fishing programs. Brad

I think I speak for all of the members and administrators here when I say that we all have the same concerns about this issue and others of similar issue. I as well as other members, I'm sure, will definitely take a look at your site. Thanks for the venue that will allow us to voice our concerns about this issue. |

They gave it to grants for orginizations that want to stop fishing....what a help to raid the money that helps sustain fish, and give it to political groups. Good to hear from you. Nice to be back.
