Fred Hall "After the Show" Get Together 2006

Saturday, March 4th 2006 - Long Beach, CA

(This is a Non-Fishing event)

The Fred Hall Fishing and Boat Show (Long Beach, CA)........."a once a year event where all the Tackle Ho's come out to worship the Pimps of the Sportfishing Industry". - Tony"PlatinumHooks"Zubia

Each year, after the Saturday show, we host a HookUpSportfishing.com "after the show" get together. Last year was at pizza place there on the promenade in the harbor.

This year; from your suggestions, we've decide to have the event as another "pizza get together"(different place thatn last year). We pick a designated place inside the Fred Hall Show to meet (normally one of the booths) and then we all roll out from there.

Suggestions are to get to the show by no later than noon on that Saturday if you want to look around for a few hours, because we don't wait for the show to close that night before leaving for the "get together". The show closes at 10:00pm. We normally leave for the get together between 8-8:15pm. You don't need to bring anything but yourself and your $$$$$$. We will all pitch in together for whatever is ordered food wise.

(For those of you who have already confirmed your attendance in the Fred Hall Get Together Suggestion thread; you've already been added to the RSVP list). WE WILL BE MEETING AT THE CASTA DESIGN BOOTH!!! BOOTH # 1410. IF YOU FORGET WHAT BOOTH # IT IS GRAB AN EVENT PROGRAM AND THE VENDOR BOOTH LISTINGS ARE IN THERE.

Time to meet inside the show:
we will be meeting between 8:00 - 8:15pm again; at the CASTA DESIGN booth....(don't be late)

Get Together location:

21 The Paseo (@ the "Pike" off of Pine Ave, right next door to the Long Beach Convention Center)

DIRECTIONS TO THE FRED HALL SHOW:

(From Ventura County / Los Angeles area)
Take the San Diego Freeway(405 fwy) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy).
Go south on the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy) to the Downtown Exits.
(the 710 fwy then becomes Shoreline Drive).
Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and go left into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

(From San Diego / Orange County area)
Take the San Diego Freeway(405 fwy) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy).
Go south on the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy) to the Downtown Exits.
(the 710 fwy then becomes Shoreline Drive).
Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and go left into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

(From San Gabriel Valley area)
Either going East or West on the 10 fwy, take the 710 fwy south until you come into Long Beach.
Continue to go south on the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy) to the Downtown Exits.
(the 710 fwy then becomes Shoreline Drive).
Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and go left into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

(From Inland Empire area)
Take the 60 fwy west to the Long Beach fwy (710 fwy) south.
Transition onto the 710 fwy going south until you come into Long Beach.
Continue to go south on the Long Beach Freeway (710 fwy) to the Downtown Exits.
(the 710 fwy then becomes Shoreline Drive).
Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and go left into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

DIRECTIONS TO THE "GET TOGETHER" FROM THE FRED HALL SHOW:

To get to "EXTREME PIZZA" from the Long Beach Convention Center is literally a walk across the street. It's located on "The Paseo" St. which is right off of Pine St.

Pine St. runs west/east and borders the Convention Center on the "north" side. When we meet at the designated spot inside the Fred Hall Show, we will be walking over there together or driving; whichever is the preference at that time. If you are not going to the Fred hall Show, but wish to attend the "After the Show Get Together", then please meet there at the times provided above. If you need more detailed directions, please contact EXTREME PIZZA at the number provided above.

I'm only working the show on weekend dates (Sat -Sun). Plus Sat night for the Get Together.

I might be down to meet you there on Wednesday (late afternoon /evening???). Maybe Chris and I will meet you down there. I'll have to talk to him.

I don't know about long range discounts. I've never looked into 'em. The best rates are from tackle shops.

I just go for the shiny things.
