im pretty sure it was at surface.
i hope im wrong. could you imagine us posting the fish on HUSFing. the aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwws we would have. the story go,s like this. mickey was on the fish for 2 1/2 hrs using an ultra light rod. dodoman manuvers the boat closer to shore, to give mickey a better chance of landing it. spook had his thumb up his................. during the heavy battle, ( asking what bait are you using, what bait are you using.) taco slaps spooky twice and dodoman giving mick a helping hand. slice was up the hill, keeping the coals hot. mickey finally manages to get a few more winds on the reel, as the fish takes off another run towards the cold ,dark ,deep waters..................... and on and on and on............ this would have been a great story.lol sorry spook , had to add the slapping, the story wouldnt sound great with out it.lol 14 MORE DAYS.

yep.
spook , once again, this has been a great competition. we had many talented anglers to fish in many parts of califorinia. this has been really , a really great competition. i sure will ( in near future ) put up another striper competition. im thinking in early spring, that would be a good time to start fishing for stripers. WHAT DO YOU SAY SPOOK? so everyone, get ready for spring. gear up for another striper competition. and this time , THE PRIZES ARE GOING TO BE DIFFERENT. put the gears together and dont forget the fresh line. i must say, i really enjoyed fishing with BRERESFORD 1234, HOMESLICE, WALT, MICKEYINDAHOUSE, SPOOK 007, FISH TACO, STRIPERSLAYER. you guys are fun to hang with. maybe the next competition , one of us will bring in the trophy. we have 4 months to reload on striper tackle. and well meet up again for another challenge. thank you everyone. prizes will be announced on tues.
