RECAP ON 2007 - California Fishing

I KNOW THE YEAR HAS NOT ENDED, BUT MY SALTWATER DAYS IS OVER TIL NEXT YEAR.
I,LL STILL BE FISHING LOCALLY, AND MAYBE A ROCK FISH OR TWO.
BUT MY DREAMS OF HOOKING MY FIRST 200 LBER HAS SAIL WITH OUT ME.
NEXT YEAR IS GOING TO BE A GOOD YEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO PRIVATE CHARTER A BOAT AGAIN AND HAVE ALL THE HUSF MEMBERS TO RIDE THIS ONE.
LONG STORY SHORT, TIGHT LINE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ON THE WINTER SCHEDULE , AND HOPFULLY A GOOD POST OR TWO WILL BE APPRECIATED.

WOULD LIKE TO HEAR EVERYONES COMMENT ABOUT ANY OF THERE FISHING SUCCESS OR ANY SHORT STORY OF THE BIG ONE THAT GOT AWAY.

Yep, waiting for spring when the C-bass get back on the chew!! Had fun doing the bass tourneys, but unfortunately, my work schedule got in the way the last few. I would say I've been succesfull on the stripers(consistent catches) although the big one's still elude me, but I'm still trying!! I'll be working hard untill Dec 31!!!

Successful year. Learned FUSEing, marbling, and actually put names to specific looks instead of just putting out an overall product. Wrote a few articles that have been reviewed well. Went and fished when I could

This year was a good year ! went on my first Overnight trip, met some cool people on this website, And I am still looking for that humongo halibut in baja. hopefully on Newyears day ( cause im going) I will acomplish that acheivement. Also I hope for next year I could hook up with a Tuna or Yellowtail, never got to feel what thats like!

It has been a good year. Didnt get to do any multi day trips this year, but next year I hope to get on a couple. Finally got my first legal hali's, first kiddie rod tourney, and had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with some great people. I fish year round so its never over.

Hello everyone!
This year for me has been pretty good, but it could have been better if they didn't blue stone the aqueduct, over all 42 Stripers and 3 catfish, which are schoolies size, and did'nt reach what I wanted to accomplish in a 30 1/4 lb striper again. The year of fishing is not over for me, I fish year around trying for the other big one that is out there running from me. Well my biggest catch was ton my friend from the duct he was a biggy but he would'nt let me hang him on the scale, Ops! it wasn't big enough it only goes to 50 lbs. Over all I had a great time meeting and fishing with alot of you. Hope to meet more of you in 2008. Merry Christmas to all from Striper Bill/Striper Fever and Fishing Mama and little Amy too!
