Hi my name is tom. I am from Port Hueneme California. Not to good with computers, so i'll see how this goes. Hoping to hear from some locals like myself who luv surf fishing as much as I do. Just turning 21 and realizing fishing is one hell of a way to have fun! Hope anyone who reads this has a great time fishing next time out. Good luck!!!!

Hi tom welcome! i'm a newbie, what's surf fishing? I'd imagine it's fishing in the surf and waves from shore? wouldn't that be hard? I'd imagine my line would keep washing to shore and being useless?

welcome to the board. we have a few people who fish the hueneme area. In fact, we had a gathering at Arnolds Road and i think 5 or 6 people showed up to surf fish. i wasnt there but from what i hear they caught quite a few surf perch. we're still waiting on the report. Also, a few of us are good with computers and if you ever need help im sure we will be more then willing to help you.

Hi guys, quick question too set the mind straight. If my tide chart table reads high tide at 8:37am (example) then I should be on the beach at 6:30 until 10:30 if possible for the best chances of hookin up to the big one.HA, HA.My understanding is last 2 hours of the rise and first two hours of the drop. Someone please set me on the right path.
