Hey Tony,
Have you ever fished in the Brazil/Argentina like the Xingu River, Amazon Rover, Gemini Lodge or Rio Roosevelt Lodge - I heard some stories about hooking up on a Bicuda, Dourado, or the Jau (monster catfish) and a couple of other species... The Amazon River produces some of the best freshwater gamefish around and "be careful when you release the hook becuase your hands might get chopped off." YEAH!

In S. America I have fished Brazil, Argentina, and Peru. The Brazil trip was by itself, and the other trip I fished Argentina and Peru on the same trip. I've taken Peacock Bass, Pacu (which is a large but pretty harmelss variety of Piranah (sp?), you can get 'em in any pet store), Golden Dorado(freshwaer dorado), Brown and Rainbow Trout. There are several species of large large large Catfish that I am extremely interested in going back down there for, as well as I would love to take a huge Arrowana someday.

Naw...I should have them soon. I have to wait for my friend/business associate from S.Korea to develop the pictures; send me the duplicates; Scan them in the computer; and post them. He's lagging but he told me he's got them developed, he just needs to send them here to the states.
