As I'm sure a few of you know by now, Jon and I are heading to England and Scotland in 3 weeks for some fishing. Anyone have any suggestions on where we should fish?

Depends what you're fishing for. Lots of great trout waters up north, good carp ponds central and southern. You gotta try for some pike, in most rivers, lakes, ponds. Coarse fishing for dace, roach, rudd, tench, chubb on most rivers and ponds. Sounds like a great trip! Have you got an itinerary?

No, we're building our itineary based on where we decide to fish. As of right now, we arrive on the 25th, and have a scheduled guided trip on the morning of the 26th on the Devon River near Exeter. After that we're not sure where we're going however there are a few other locations such as the River Earn, Avon, and Tweed that we're thinking of fishing.

If you're driving up to Scotland, instead of flying, you'll love going through the Lake District. Gorgeous countryside, and be sure you have your fly-rod.
Take lots of pictures for us.

They have funny ideas on fishing there...if you fly fish, be sure to bring plenty of midges (jk).

You'll feel really bad if you do hook her
They seem to believe in dry fly fishing only, over there...unless it's for salmon...
