No Russ, sorry bro, it's a no body contact lake....a municiple reservoir. Boat or shore. I know the lake pretty well and I know some of the hotter spots. I'm down for Boat and shore tactics if you guys wanna split boat costs.

Cool, I camping out with a few friends, like Mr. Eric Lee who is a great trout fisherman if you ask Me. He is the one who referred me to this site. But he does not sign up. Mayby all of you can convince him to sign up since he read all of your responds. He's got some good tips and location for fresh water and salt water fishing. And he'll be at Cachuma this year. Hope to see you all there.

Frank...are you gonna get a boat, or fish from shore or both?

Maybe you guys wouldn't mind some of us other Hook Up members ( the motel goers) hanging out around your campfire on Friday and Saturday night, talking about fishing and having a good time?

My brother and I own a small 14 footer Lowe aluminum bass boat. When we get bored or shunked in the boat we go on shore. Lately, we have been having lots of luck in the shore area north of the marina.

Jeff,
It's an amazing lake to fish. It's large with alot of hot spots that I know pretty well. It's in a great area too....way out of the city.....near Michael Jacksons crib:mj:

It'll be a good time. I haven't been much of a "tent guy" lately, but it's derby's like this that make me wish I owned a small motorhome.

So you guys trailer the aluminum boat up there? I think whoever I fish with will start from a boat (maybe we can kinda help each other out and tag around the lake together), and then try shore later.
