Next weekend - Owens River

Hi,
I'm thinking of ditching practice (and possibly getting cut) to make it out to the owens river next weekend...heard that the fishing was wider than Wide Open so I might even try dry flies...my car is already full, but if anyone else wants to head up there let me know...our exact itenerary might vary according to what's going on up there, but I expect it to be windy and cold...

You plan on tubing it, or fishing it from shore? Do you plan on making it a one dayer or more, camping or being a sissy, and getting a room.

Well...I've been told it's a mandatory practice
And reliable sources say that the salmon are starting to run so my friends aren't so upset that I can't fish both days...no tubing where we were planning on going...maybe I'll make up for it by LNL

If anyone is thinking of hitting the open season areas of the Eastern Sierras, I'd recommend it right now...

On Sunday I'll be up at CPP with Faction

I hear that Hot Creek Fish Hatchery is closing for a while to do some maintenance so they are dumping ALL of their fish into the Owens and Pleasant Valley.
