this weekend?

Looking ahead I am thinking of taking either Thursday and Friday off or Friday and Saturday off and maybe either hitting up Jenk's and the upper Santa Ana river or possibly hitting the Kern for an overnighter.
Anyone interested?

I'm thinking of something also, but I need to be home by Saturday night, not too late.

I read an article about a perfect beach for Surf Perch and Corbina, if the tide is low to rising, for a few hours.

I'm up for anything, but I get off work in Mission Viejo about 1pm on Friday...

Let me know if you're leaving late on a Friday and I could do a Kern trip.

I dont think that a Kern trip is going to happen this weekend, I get off work Thursday morning and have to go back Saturday night. I am up for a day trip to the upper Santa Ana on Saturday and I might go carp fishing on Friday but Thursday I need to hang around the house most of the day.

oops...wrong weekend...was going on an 8 person charter but the wind is up so the skipper is letting us back out (Gail Force Winds) so he can make more money squidding, and we're going to take a pair of boats out to Catalina instead...but maybe 4 weekends from now, if the season is still open I may go to Crowley and the upper Owens again...I heard about a brown trout in the area that Mark and I didn't fish...instead of Salmon fishing...

I really need a trout fix, actually was thinking of hitting up the Sierras one last time but not enough time off or money available.
I have not been fishing since my aborted attempt at Huntington Harbor a few weeks ago
