I think that as long as you can locate the air bladder it will work, though I have never had a trout with that issue.

Very cool, I like that. That is a way to do keep the mouth bass alives again. A fish is happy going back home in the lake.

I agree whole heartedly, that was cool I will be looking for that to keep with my gear.
Only one problem for me, I need to catch the bass first right.

You see it often with ocean fish particuarly Rockfish from deep down or deep caught Bass in freshwater. It can happen to trout--Lake trout pulled from deep in Lake Tahoe have this issue often. But most trout fisherman will never see this because they take fish from moderate to shallow depths.

its actually wen a fish is reeled in to fast from deep water their air bladder doesnt have time to adjust...so the fish doesnt have time to deflate... im sure there is a fancy term for this occurance but i dont got it so if anyone knows wat its called it would be greatly appreciated...

I have caught a few strippers in the duct and found them hard to release as they just wanted to go belly up is this why? I never had a problem with LMB or cats but the last one I caught I quickly released but I could not run it back and fourth in the water due to the water level being low ( the slick moss on the banks exposed ) so I just threw him back and It died.

You threw him back and it died, but did you take with him for fillet taco or soup?

No I don't like the taste of fish, now if you could fish for steak that would be different.

I never catch fish anyway so that's useless to me.
