Fly Swap?
anyone interested in doing a flyswap?
basically, each participant chooses a pattern and ties 1 or 2 or 3 flies (of the chosen pattern) for each other participant and eventually they get mailed to everybody. so you'll get to practice tying flies, get a few new flies for your collection and hopefully have fun!

Well, I pretty much only tie three freshwater patterns and two saltwater patterns...and they all look ugly if I haven't tied them in awhile...I only tie what I catch fish on.
(chironomid-midge, wooleybugger, Matuka, Clauser, and now a Sly-Fly variant)

no need for bar flies...
Why not make it 2 flies per, one to dissect and one to fish or look at? And include recipe and steps?
How many before this is a go?
Also, I really don't want an Adams or any dry fly that is dubbed with dyed cotton balls, or feather dusters. If a dry fly is offered, please let it be a REAL dry. Foam is`perfectly fine.
Actually, now that I think of it, can I change my leech to a foam hopper? One that will float a dropper in place of an indicator? or should I do the dropper?

well i was just getting a feel for the amount of people who were interested so you can change a trillion more times until i post a more official (for lack of a better word) thread.
i was hoping for 5 anglers at about 2 flies each. so with Beresford, Portbow, Nulod, and me we have 4 and i'm sure we can get atleast one more to join.

I'm in, but I suck lol. I can only really pull off ant's or other fairly simple patterns.

I'm in. Lemme know what patterns your interested in. Gallery posting gives a general idea of what I'm currently tying but I can do others if need be.
