Wilson River report- 7-24 with pics

Wilson River report- 7-24 with pics

Stats:
Weather: low 70's, windy
Water: Fairly warm, not sure temperature
Total Fish Caught: 26(Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout)

Well my dad said that we were going to go fish for sea run cutts on a creek in Neskowin Oregon, but what I didnt know and decided to ask him was how and when did he here about this. He had talked to his friend a while ago, and he had said they were running but that was quite a while ago, so they werent even running. We decided to go down to the Wilson River and fish for some bows.

Right when we got down there we started hooking fish. They were biting very well and I was very surprised. I was just using BHPTN and some prince nymphs. Worked very well.

My dad caught a nice trout in some big rapids, around 14 or so inches. Very nice looking fish. Here are some pictures:

the small trout on top is very pretty, nice catch.

Most of them were very bright in color!
