Night Bass Fishing at Castaic?!
Is anybody interested in doing some night time fishing at Castaic?
Next week, July 10 and 11, Castaic is having night fishing.
Friday the 10th is a float tube/kayak night at the lagoon from 6PM - 12AM -
http://www.castaiclake.com/docs/2009...be_Fishing.pdf
Saturday the 11th is a boating/shore fishing night at the main lake from 8PM - 2AM -
http://www.castaiclake.com/docs/2009...shing_2009.pdf
I'm probaby going to be out there both nights. From what I hear, the night fishing out there produces some really big fish! I know a few other people who are going so if we get a couple from here, we could get a mini tournament together. I'm expecting quite a few 5+ pounders to be caught and hoping for a 10+
Let me know!

I'm not a bass guy but I would be willing to drive some transportationally challenged members from the Legg Lake area if they kicked in for gas/entry fee. PM me if you wanna go but can't get a ride or just want to carpool. Seems like as good an opportunity to start bassin' as any.

Yeah, there's always big fish that come out of these nights. I'm expecting a good striper bite on the main lake as well

I'll be using bigger baits, but probably won't be swimbaiting. I might throw one for a while from the boat on Saturday night though...
