well, i hope it all goes well for the waiters.
sure would like to get the whole gang out there.
senko, if you hav,nt been to d.v.l., the toons are super nice, along with the better bass boats than skinner.
augst is going to be a good month for bass fishing.
while your in the water, you,ll see stripers on the surface sometimes rushing at the bait balls ( shads ) and chasing anything that swims.
what makes the lake so spectacular is there not enough time in a day to fish the whole lake.
the fishing is great out there, as the water is really clean, and you can see schooling bluegills bieng chased by l.m.b.
while back during the swimbait fall season, they where dumping trouts.
i would walk along side of the bank and see a grip of trouts bieng chased to the surface.
these trouts were not afraid of my presents, as i was only inches away from them.
they were more afraid of what was lurking feets deeper away from them.
by the rocks, i saw a few trouts bieng cornerd by l.m.b.
i was sitting there for a while and watching how the bass was reacting to the trouts.
there would be 3 or 4 large mouths keeping the trouts cornered in a spot.
i throw out a castiac (sink) trout color, and the bigger bass swam right to it, and swam off.
i should have coated the lure with PROCURE trout flavor.
the bigger bass are smarter, and hates big swimbaits, thats why they thrash the baits on top water.
your gonna love this place.
as i would advise a stiffer rod, for the just incase moments.
HOPE TO GET A GREAT GROUP OF GUYS TO WATCH THESE BASS IN ACTION, RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES.
ITS REALLY EXCITING TO SEE FISH IN THE WATER CHASING FOOD.
TACO, remember the school of stripers that swam under our boat , chasing the shads?
MAN, it was a sight to see.
