Spook special. This is the larger one that just got done with paint and clear coat. Thanks R!!! Nothing fancy. I had 2 smaller versions that were getting hammered that I lost the past few nights. Way it goes.

The next version will be a 1 piece and I'll keep the bill. I was using BH for the tail but the clear would melt the tails so I'm going to try a plastic tail. Ugly but it's gets bit!!

Is it balsa?
If so, how do you tie the two pieces together so that a tail bite doesn't rip the thing in two?

Anyone ever try using spectra or dacron to connect the segments?

I see no reason why it wouldn't work......yet!

Spooko we used to make similar lures
with broomsticks when we were kids
but the rooster loved them and my mom hated me
for stealing the broom all the time
