You don't like 'em for yourself, or you don't need 'em right now? Those are some nice rods.

I was just talking to Ty today at the booth. The Lip RipperZ display is directly across from the Phenix display. Nice big 'ol guy isn't he.

All my Freshwater (Crappie, Trout, Steelhead, Salmon)spinning rods are "DAMON custom rods" out of New York, I won't use anything else; though the Phenix rods are pretty comprable to the Damon stuff. To bad it wasn't Bass rods you had, I'd buy 'em. I think I'm going to replace all my freshwater/saltwater Bass (baitcasting) rods with new Phenix rods, I like 'em alot!, though I was looking at Kestler rods also. The Shimano Baitcasting rods at the show were way too expensive! I thought Shimano had crappy deals at the show. Phenix had the awsome deals!

I had a couple of Kistler Rod "Drop Shot Special", "Senko Special" and "2004 Helium LTA 6'6" Medium Power... but sold them all becuase I didn't fish for bass that often. I did keep my Phenix 6'6 Medium with a Shimano Scorpion 1001 though incase I ever fish for bass again. Anyway, the Kistlers were awesome rod...even the non LTA ones. I did hear a rumor they were using Rogue Blanks though--heard anything about that?

That's not a true rumor at all. Don't believe it. Kistler designs their own mandrils and manufacturers thier own blanks..it's a Kistler blank when you buy a Kistler rod. Kistler's been around alot longer than Rogue. Rogue is Gary Loomis's new rod company after his sorry a$$ sold out to Shimano who now manufacturs Shimano blanks and puts the G Loomis stamp on it......what a shame.
