LETS GO STRIPER FISHING - California Fishing

HELLO EVERYONE, I PRETTY MUCH HAVE SEPT OPEN, GETTING READY FOR THE 10 DAY OCT TRIP. JUST WANNA ASK A FEW FELLAS HERE ON BOARD , IM THINKING OF PUTTING A STRIPER TRIP TOGETHER.

NOW ALL THREE OF THESE LAKES HAVE STRIPERS IN THEM AND I WILL BE RENTING A PONTOON, SO WHO EVER IS INTRESTED ON GOING I WILL TAKE ABOUT 4 TO 6 GUYS INCLUDING ME,DONT REALLY WANNA CROWD THE BOAT.

THE COST IS SPLIT EVENLY AMONG ALL FOR THE RENTAL.
BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND OFCOURSE TACKLE.
HAVE NOT SET THE EXACT DATE , BUT SURLY IT WILL BE ON WHAT EVER DATE WE ALL AGREE ON.

RECOMMENDED TACKLE: small and big swim baits, 12 14 or 16 lb set ups. heavy bass rods are good. hooks and sinkers for bait. surface poppers and crank baits are good for the morning boils and late afternoon.

i will provide all the drinks and water. must bring licence.

That sounds like fun! It's a bit far in advance, but as Sept nears I might be able to confirm. This does sound like fun. Heck, if enough people are interested, we might be able to get 2 or 3 pontoons.

Call it ye official 2007 HUSF Stripper-A-Thon.

I'm guessing Vince is a sure show. I don't know how his Barbie rig will hold though.

i will probably be the early of the month, looking at the fishing chart, it shows it will be a good time of the month to go, how about a sunday .

Sundays ain't good for me. I work Mon-Sat (Sat's negotiable). The only day my family (Wife, Kids & Myself) spends together is Sunday. So that's out of the question for me.

If that's what works for everyone else, then I'm out. Perhaps next time.

I am in , any day, any time, rain, snow or sunshine. Just let me know when and where. I would vote for Skinner or Silverwood. While there are stripers in DVL the lake is not old enough to have a chance at a 50 pounder.

p/s skinner has the old style pontoons.
dvl has the newer stuff.

dvl record fish is in the 38 lb, but skinner is in the 60,s . my last time there it was wide open in sept. grab your tackle and lets play , i need 2 or 3 to go with us.

Well I'm in, so long as I know 1-2 weeks in advance on exact date I can play hooky or just use up a vacation day. I'll see if I can get my buddy to join us too. So I'm possibly taking up 2 spots...tentatively.

a saturday sounds great to mee too! im not a striper fishermen, but im sure i can rig up some stuff

im not sure with Boy Scouts if its a booked saturday yet thou.... i think what ever is NOT memorial weekend im in...Memorials booked fror MAMMOTH!!!!!!
