Return to Newport???

I think that I have solved the issue with my pontoon and I am ready to head back out this Saturday. Will probibly launch from the front side of Balboa and fish the BYC moorings since I fished the inside channel last week.
anyone else in?

That is so tempting, but I've already got a date with my 7 yr. son. We're going on the Aquarius out of Malibu pier. Likely, we'll be taking the 12pm trip since 6am seems too son for a youngster.

I'd love to give my pontoon a try at Newport. I've only Yaked it several times and have loved it. I'd like to see the pros and cons of the two out there. Good luck and remember how long it takes the bass to grow. C,P&R!!!

slight alteration to my plans, seems I did not find the leak in my potoon bladder after all. Where ever it is it is very tiny and S-L-O-W because I cant find the damn thing!
Anyway lucky for me I have a spare pontoon boat laying around so I will still be down there tomorrow...

Fill up the pontoon then give it a spray down with some soapy water, it should bubble up where ever the leak is... no matter how small a leak. We test boat, car, motorcycle, and air tanks like that at work and hasn't failed yet. We usually use palmolive dish soap.
