I've actually been thinking of heading up to Mammoth or June lake for the opener. HookUpGirl promised she would go with me, so I'm hoping it will work out. Are you heading up there?

Better bring a ICE pick... The 7k lakes are still ice, atlease the last 4 times I went. You might be able to fish Twin, but Mary, George, Mamie, and Horseshoe are iffy during the opener.

Yow....I'd go but the crowds don't particularly enthuse me...I usually wait until June...less crowds, kiddies (not that I have anything against them - they can have the whole summer) are still in school....I just like room to move. Rock Creek was great for me and my wife last year...

Time to bring this back up since it's getting close!!!! I plan on going, I'll probably be staying at my uncles house in mammy or bishop. I wanna hit up Intake 2, then the around Bishop Creek, then Rock Creek, and finally Convict! What's everyone's plan?
