Pink Salmon ON! report with pics 8/2

Well today was awesome, we fished this great spot and it ended up working great for us. We were getting bite after bite, and we all ended up limiting out. Made out with a lot of meat and a ton of eggs!

I caught around 3 Pink Salmon in the mouth by fly, but they were all male and we were trying to only keep females. All of the other fish I caught were by my casting setup. I also caught a Chum Salmon and boy was that a fun fight! Here are some pictures from today:

Above was a Pink Salmon I caught on fly.

Everyones limit together!

Great day on the water! :veryhappy:

the salmon with the big backs, the pink salmon if i am correct, look insane. They look like a computer animated fish just pasted in the picture.

looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

They are the same, just males have the hump. The top one is a chum salmon.

Well, to me they taste very good especially smoked! They taste similar to king(chinook) salmon.

Actually I think the males always have it. As for the hump, I am not sure what it is, but I would think its some kind of blubber.
