Newport Harbor again anyone?

Newport Harbor again anyone?
Looks like several of us will be hitting Newport again this Saturday (the 14th) but this time we will launch from the back side of Balboa and fish the inside channel instead. Last time it started off slow but ended up being s good day, hopefully this trip it will stay strong all day.
Anybody with a float tube or kayak is welcome to come along, PM me for details and contact info.

Good luck out there Russ and anyone else who joins him. Remember to duck when Vince is casting. Might get hit in the head with a 1/2 ounce sinker if you don't

So far it looks like it'll be 69˚ and 10mph winds...sounds do-able. If nothing desastrous happens, I'm in!

Vince, how do you cast those 2 oz weights on that Barbie setup? LOL!
Cannonball sinkers may cause more pain without penetration. Just a thought.

Well I was up for this one but my pops decided to kill the transmission in his Nissan Frontier so he will be useing my truck for work for awhile, and I pulled off the Kayak rack to make way for the new camper shell coming in next week. So I have no way to get the Yak down from LA to the harbor. Suck part is I picked up some new grubs and jig heads to try on this trip too .

And I do not want to try loading it into a lowered acura integra or duct taping it to the roof.

So good luck out there guys hope you do well and I hope to be up and running for the next trip.

1/2 ounce sinker...sink... a ship for me Homeslice! just don't hit Rus
